Korean Class For Interns

Every Friday between 3 and 5pm, interns get the chance to attend Korean class at ACOPIA school. The native Korean teacher, who also speaks English, explains Korean traditions, culture and holidays, such as Chuseok and its food and meaning. She encourages us to speak and read, while trying to make everything as casual and fun as possible. We practise reading, listening and writing, usually for a topic covering the current season or time of the year. Sometimes, if it fits the occasion, the teacher brings snacks and examples related to the topics for better understanding. As a beginner it can be difficult to follow, but the other students and the teacher will always try their best to help and make sure that everyone can follow.
