Core Responsibilities: Digital Media & Cultural Strategy

As an ACOPIA intern, you will lead high-impact projects that bridge professional growth with cultural innovation:  

  • K-POP Production: Direct, shoot, and produce professional-grade K-POP music videos.  

  • Strategic Management: Spearhead cultural planning and management for international K-Culture events.  

  • Theatrical Supervision: Serve as the Visual Content Lead for "Multicultural Society Good World," an officially accredited Korean theater company.  

  • Global Engagement: Manage diverse social media campaigns, online promotions, and international exchange programs to broaden your professional network.

Internship Details

  • Scheduling: Rolling admissions are open year-round. Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon completion of the initial application.  

  • Duration: Flexible options from 1 to 12 months. (Note: A 3-month minimum is required for internships starting between September and February).  

  • Prime Location: Our headquarters, the Acopia Lounge, is located in the vibrant Hongdae district (a 5-minute walk from Hongik University Station, Exit 3).  

Transparent Investment Structure

  • Placement Deposit: 100 USD

    This initial deposit secures your placement and is fully deducted from your final program fee. This ensures your commitment is a smart investment in your future.  

  • Monthly Program & Residence Fee: 800 USD

    Includes professional internship guidance and premium accommodation. A 10% early-bird discount is available for upfront payments of the full duration.  

  • Utility & Connectivity Fee: 100 USD

    Covers high-speed Wi-Fi, electricity, gas, and water. This fee is waived for all participants staying 3 months or longer.  

  • Exclusive Female-Only Residence: To provide the most secure and supportive environment, ACOPIA housing is reserved exclusively for female participants.

  • Living with Trainees: Experience an inspiring lifestyle shared with aspiring K-POP trainees, fostering a culture of dedication and shared dreams.  

  • Support for Male Participants: While our internal residences are female-only, we provide full concierge services for male participants to arrange high-quality nearby accommodation (approx. 600,000 KRW/month).

NOTICE :

During the internship period, The submitted reports, reflection papers, as well as photos and videos taken during activities, will be used as materials to introduce the internship program of the Asia Hope Camp Organization. The ownership and usage rights of these materials belong to the Asia Hope Camp Organization.

Once the internship schedule is set and the participation fee has been paid, the program must proceed as planned. Changes due to personal circumstances are difficult because the schedules of other participants, the training program, and accommodation arrangements are all interconnected. Please note that refunds are not available after the payment has been made.

South Korea has simplified its entry process to ensure a seamless travel experience.

  • Quarantine-Free: No quarantine is required upon entering Korea, irrespective of your vaccination status.

  • No Testing Requirements: Post-arrival PCR tests are no longer mandatory. You can begin your journey immediately upon arrival.

Korea Electronic Travel Authorization

If you are a national of a visa-free entry country, you must obtain digital authorization before departure.

  • Requirement: Eligible foreign nationals must have a valid K-ETA to board their flight.

  • Deadline: Please ensure your K-ETA application is submitted and approved at least 72 hours before departure.

  • Validity: Once approved, the K-ETA is generally valid for multiple entries over a 2-year period (or 3 years for certain applicants).

■Directions to ACOPIA from Incheon Airport

1. By Taxi (Recommended)

Service Provided: Partnered taxi service with Acopia
If you pay 100USD, a driver from our partner taxi company will greet you at the arrival lobby of Incheon Airport. Once you provide us with your arrival time, flight details, and terminal, our driver will wait for you with a signboard. They will meet you at the airport lobby and safely take you to the Acopia accommodation by taxi. The taxi ride from Incheon Airport to Acopia takes approximately 45 minutes. The cost is 100USD.

Travel Time: Approximately 45 minutes

How to Use : Provide your arrival time, flight details, and terminal information to Acopia in advance. A driver from the partnered taxi company will greet you at the arrival lobby with a signboard. The driver will meet you and safely transport you to the Acopia accommodation.


2. By Airport Railroad (AREX)

How to Take the Regular Airport Railroad (AREX) Train from Incheon Airport Terminal 1 to Hongik University Station (Hongdae)

  1. Finding the Airport Railroad Station:

    • After arriving at Incheon Airport Terminal 1, follow the signs for "Airport Railroad (AREX)." The station is located underground.

  2. Purchasing Tickets:

    • You can purchase a ticket for the regular train at the ticket vending machines or the ticket counter.

    • Fare: Approximately 4,150 KRW (one way to Hongdae Station).

    • You can also use a T-money card (rechargeable transit card) for added convenience.

  3. Boarding the Train:

    • Proceed to the regular train platform (not the express train platform).

    • Check the train schedule displayed on the screens to confirm the departure time. Regular trains usually run every 10-15 minutes.

  4. On the Train:

    • The journey from Incheon Airport Terminal 1 to Hongik University Station takes about 56 minutes.

    • The train stops at several stations, including Gimpo Airport and Digital Media City, before reaching Hongdae.

  5. Arriving at Hongik University Station (Hongdae):

    • Get off the train at Hongik University Station.

    • Follow the signs to Exit 3 if you are heading to Acopia or nearby locations.

  6. Walking to Acopia (Optional):

    • From Exit 3, Acopia is about a 7-minute walk. Use a map application for precise directions.

    • Covers electricity, gas, water, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

    • Special Policy: This fee is only applicable for stays shorter than 3 months. Starting from the 3rd month, all maintenance fees are waived.


Flexible Living Options

  • Participants are not required to stay at Acopia House. If you choose external accommodation, you only pay the Internship Guidance Fee (400 USD/month).

  • The 10% discount still applies if the full guidance fee for the internship period is paid upfront.


Optional Extension: Japanese Cultural Experience

Expand your horizons after your time in Seoul. We offer a specialized cultural program in Kumamoto, Japan.

Refund amounts are determined by the timing of your cancellation notice relative to the program start date:

  • 2 Months Prior: Full Refund (100%)

  • 1 Month Prior: 50% Refund

  • Within 1 Month: No Refund

Note: All refund calculations are based on the date the written notification is received.

2. Placement Deposit

  • An Placement Deposit of 100 USD is applied to all applications.

  • This fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations made 2 months prior.
