2023 august mako camp

2022 DECEMBER MAKO CAMP

I participated in MAKO camp in December!

In a nutshell, it was a really fun camp!

I had such a fun time that I didn't feel it even though there were children of completely different ages and places of origin. At first, I thought I would spend 6 days at this distance, but soon I was able to open up to everyone✨

I was able to go out in my free time with various children and talk about various things, so I think I had a really fulfilling time!

In the last five nights and six days, there were four dance lessons and two Korean lessons.

In the Korean language class, the teacher taught me the details in an easy-to-understand way, and it was really fun and time went by so quickly!

There were two dance classes at Acopia studios and two at local dance schools.

The genre was mainly kpop.

Even though I've never danced before, I learned how to dance by practicing over and over again while separating little by little!

The dance in 1 million felt a little different. The atmosphere, level, and expressiveness were beyond description 😳 I felt strongly that I wanted to dance like that too!

There were so many things to learn.

The feeling of dancing like this when I was dancing was completely different from the way I saw it in the actual video.

However, if you dance too hard, you will lose your flexibility, so I thought people who dance well were really amazing!

I went to Lotte World and HYBEMUSUM for sightseeing!

Lotte World was indoors, but I was surprised that it was bigger than I expected! There was also an outdoor area! There are so many people inside and outside that I thought it was very popular! The attraction was also a long line ꒪(꒪□))

In HYBE MUSIC, there was something like a songwriting app for idols on my computer, and I was surprised that it was made with delicate technology even though it was very difficult to use! It was very interesting!I watched a video of HYBE's artists being interviewed at HYBE MUSIC, and I was really moved by that video.

In that video, I talked about my trainee days and my idol status. After seeing that, I was able to feel that my responsibility and aspirations as an idol are really high and not all that I can do easily.

Not only is it impossible at this level, but I also felt that I had to spend my life fighting more aggressively.

On the fourth day, there was an audition!

I was really nervous when I auditioned face-to-face for the first time...!

My voice didn't come out as I wanted, and the dance might have been stiff💦

However, I had a really wonderful experience!Thank you again!

I can only thank the participants for being so nice and having a great time!Thank you, Onni♡♡

It was so much fun that I didn't want to go home!Thank you for the valuable experience!

Hello ^^!I am 15 years old who participated in MAKO camp from December 25th to 30th."Since it was my first time going abroad alone, I was worried at first, and I was full of anxiety."(>_<) However, the children who participated in the camp together were very kind, and we were able to get along quickly and help each other in various situations, so we had a great time (*´˘`*). I took K-pop cover dance, Korean classes, and went to a famous dance school. It was my first time to experience face-to-face auditions, and it was also a good opportunity to review my current abilities and challenges. On the third day, on the 27th, I was taken to Lotte World and rode various attractions in the uniform I wanted to wear.I was able to communicate with people who had the same dream as me and deepen our relationship, and it was a very precious time.

Thank you, Acopia

This time I participated in Mako Camp for 5 nights and 6 days!"At first, I was very nervous and worried, but I was able to get along with older Onni and younger children easily, and it was really fun to talk to them."In kpop Korean, I learned Korean while enjoying music, so I had a lot of fun and I was able to work on it in an easy-to-understand way!I was so happy to be able to go to Lotte World for the first time and wear my long-cherished Korean uniform!!I was very happy that I was able to choose the uniform I wanted to wear among the many kinds of uniforms ♡ There were many headbands, ribbon ties, and ironing..I bought a heartband at Lotte World!!My friend bought a headband that I had been pushing for, and I thought it was very loving and cute!It was very fun because the atmosphere was completely different when it was bright and dark!!

I was so happy to be able to take the one million dance lesson that I've always wanted to take! There were many Koreans and Americans from many countries, so I was able to communicate with them, and I was able to study a lot by watching the dances of good people!!I realized how much fun it was to show myself and dance!I sang a Korean song at the audition, but I regret that I couldn't sing the lyrics as I thought..I was able to learn a lot through this camp for 5 nights and 6 days, and I was able to learn a lot about not only dance and language but also culture, and it was really fun to communicate with each other!!Thank you!!I will continue to work hard towards my dream!!

This was my first time in Korea.I was very anxious until I got off the plane, but I remember being relieved that Acopia waited for me.I was worried if I could get along with everyone or make friends, but on the first night, we all ate dinner together and got along all at once!

"On the first day, I was very tired from moving around, but the staff at the dorm was kind, so I thought it was a day when we could all get along a little."The second day was Korean and dance lessons." I had never had a dance lesson in the studio, and I was worried if I could keep up with it, but I managed to keep up with it."My teacher taught me Korean in an easy-to-understand way, so I could understand it well.On the third day, we went to Lotte World.I had a great time experiencing Korean uniforms and riding rides. At night, for the audition the next day, we all prepared songs and dance confirmation at the dorm until late. I'm tired, but I was able to have fun and work hard because I was with everyone!

On the fourth day, there were dance lessons and auditions.I prepared songs and dances in advance, but I was worried about them, so I checked them many times and auditioned. It ended well, but I had a lot to reflect on.But since I had never auditioned in person, I think it was a very good experience. After the audition, I ate a lot of Korean food such as Kimpa and Tteokbokki and enjoyed shopping! On the fifth day, I went to the HYBE Museum. It was great that I could put it in a place that I couldn't normally go to and enjoy a different world space!I enjoyed listening to videos and demonstrations during practice. In the 1 million dance lesson, I was impressed by the fact that I put it where I always watch it on YouTube. The lessons were easy to understand and fun, and time flew by so quickly that I wanted to do more. The teacher's dance was so cool and beautiful that I was moved. The other students were also very good and confident and danced, and I really wanted to charm them in such a cool way.

Originally, I have a mature personality and often can't express myself or do it because I don't have the courage to do it, but coming to Korea alone was my first growth, and I had a lot of valuable experiences thinking about various things throughout 5 nights.I was able to get a lot of things that I couldn't get in my daily life.It was 5 nights and 6 days when I realized that I still didn't have enough effort for my dream by watching other children's dance and my Korean level during the dance lesson, and my desire to become better and better at it became very strong.I had a lot of fun making many memories in Korea with my favorite friends!!! I will do my best to go to Korea again soon!

Before I came to this camp, I was worried about the excitement of going to Korea for the first time and making friends.

"I was very worried because I arrived later than everyone else, but I was very relieved and happy that everyone welcomed me warmly."On the 2nd and 4th day of Korean lessons, the teacher taught me the meaning of the lyrics of the song very politely. They explained it using gestures and simple words, so it was easy to understand and I enjoyed taking classes.

In the dance lesson, I did kpop cover dance. It was good that I was able to dance well in a short time while being taught the parts and tips to put my energy into.

On the third day, we went to Lotte World.

It was a very large building and you could enjoy it both indoors and outdoors.I enjoyed wearing Korean uniforms on this day.I could enjoy Christmas parades and souvenirs all day long.

On the 4th day, we did a cover dance for kpop."It was a little hard because it moved fast and needed tips, but as I got along, I got used to it and had a lot of fun."

On the fifth day, I went to the Hive Museum.I was very excited because there were so many items, videos, and exhibits from my favorite idols. The videos are all very moving and memorable.

We also had a one million dance lesson on this day.I was nervous because it was a very famous dance studio, but the teacher was so kind that I enjoyed dancing until the end.I was so happy that the teacher took two shots and it became a precious memory.

I went shopping and eating dinner with my friends every night during this camp, but all of them are memorable.Ordering in Korean or with the staff

It was very refreshing to talk about it.

And since the dorm was a sharehouse, I met many different people frequently.I really enjoyed talking and interacting with them at that time.

I think I've made countless memories in the last six days. The casual stories that we all talked about are also important memories.I was worried about my first trip to Korea, but I was able to spend all my days fulfillingly and make many memories.

Through the Acopia camp, I was able to make a lot of good memories and what I learned.First of all, I was nervous about what kind of people other participants would gather, but I was also looking forward to it.

"When we gathered together, there were only fun and kind people, so we were able to have a good time without being too nervous."

On the first night, I went to eat chicken. It was really delicious.

I enjoyed Korean classes, dance classes, and Lotte World.

In Korean classes, I decoded the lyrics of Korean songs and sang them.

The teacher explained it very well, so I understood the words I didn't understand.

I enjoyed the last quiz.

I have a strong desire to study Korean.

In the dance class, I thought it was amazing that the teacher danced really well.

I'm glad that I was able to find the missing parts and the good parts.

I want to be able to dance well like teachers.

At Lotte World, I took pictures, bought souvenirs, and ate food with my friends.

The most memorable memory of Lotte World was that we all went outside Lotte World and took pictures. The sight I saw at that time reflected on the castle, the building, and the river under the bridge was very beautiful and the most memorable.

Thank you very much for having such an experience.

I actually came to Korea and had more fun than I had imagined.

"When I ordered dinner, it was very difficult to order, but when I managed to order it, I felt a great sense of accomplishment."

There were some things I didn't understand because the language was different, but I thought it would be great if I had this sense of accomplishment.

When I came to Korea, I found it difficult."However, it became a very fulfilling camp with support from people around me."I had a lot of fun.

I thought I should work harder for my dream, and it was a great opportunity to gain confidence and energy.

It was good that I looked at myself again and noticed many things.

I was very happy to be able to talk with other participants.

I was able to talk and learn from people with various thoughts, and it was good to be able to participate in this program with the participants.

I wish I could participate in a different program.
