artist’s note

I was born in the land of Minangkabau, an area in Indonesia that has a strong cultural tradition, has rules and regulations that make me personal.
In particular, in the art of painting, I am highly gifted with the issues of the east (especially those of the female gender) which are measured by the norms that exist in my daily environment.
For me cultural change is a form of developing human mindset and attitude, and not independent of the crisis of paid, thinking and leaving, or breaking the rules of the old culture.
Until now I've focused on the working idea of discussing cases of violence against women.
