I’ve always dreamed of coming to South Korea. My interest in the country began with Korean movies, K-dramas, and K-pop, but it quickly grew into a deep fascination with the language, traditions, and daily lifestyle. A few months before joining ACOPIA, I finally made my first trip to Korea to explore it for myself. I wanted to know if I could truly imagine living here—not just as a tourist, but as part of the culture. That short visit confirmed everything I had hoped for. I fell in love with Korea’s energy, kindness, and creativity. After returning home, I began actively searching for meaningful opportunities to come back—and that’s when I found ACOPIA. The idea of working in an entertainment company, supporting future idols, and gaining real experience while living in Korea sounded like a perfect fit for my interests and passions. It felt like more than just an internship—it felt like the beginning of a dream becoming reality.
⠀
At ACOPIA, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience in several creative and professional areas, including video production, editing, and social media promotion. I participated in filming interviews with trainees, capturing their stories, personalities, and goals. I also contributed to creating promotional content that introduces ACOPIA’s programs to others around the world who dream of joining the entertainment industry. Each task allowed me to learn more about the behind-the-scenes work that supportsK-pop training and idol development. One thing I really appreciated was the 24/7 access to the ACOPIA dance studio—it was always available, so we could practice, film, or just dance whenever we wanted, which added so much freedom and flexibility to the experience. Beyond the work itself, I formed meaningful connections—with fellow interns who shared similar creative interests, and with foreign trainees, who opened up about their dreams and personal journeys. Hearing their stories and watching them prepare for auditions made me respect their dedication even more and gave me a deeper appreciation for the industry.

Living in Korea has only deepened my love and appreciation for this country. Every day brought something new—whether it was a quiet walk through traditional neighborhoods, a spontaneous street food stop, or a weekend trip to another city. I took every opportunity to explore: from historical palaces and local markets to peaceful parks and coastal towns. Along the way, I met local friends who warmly welcomed me into their culture, and we exchanged not onlylanguage, but also personal stories and perspectives. These experiences made me feel more than just a visitor—they made me feel like I belonged here. This internship has been an unforgettable summer that gave me a real taste of both life and work in South Korea. It wasn’t just about completing tasks or gaining experience—it was about being immersed in a world I’ve always dreamed of, surrounded by creativity, passion, and culture. From working behind the scenes in entertainment to living in the heart of Seoul, every day felt meaningful. If you’re someone who dreams of experiencing K-pop culture or life in Korea more deeply, I wholeheartedly recommend applying to ACOPIA. It’s more than just an internship—it’s a chance to grow personally and professionally, to step outside your comfort zone, and to live in the center of the inspiration that makes K-pop and Korean culture so special!
