The process is the same as Ikan. However Sumpahan's narration differs abit from Ikan as it further tells the story regarding the folklore in much deeper depth. In Sumpahan, I ought to tell the story from Suri's (the protagonist) perspective after being cursed. I created this hybrid-humanoid figure with a sense of humour and also Surrealism to create that illusion between reality and magic where the folklore could have happened. Aesthetically , I was inspired by "The Persistence of Memory" by Salvador Dali to create a narration that the protagonist herself is running out of time and the hesitancy of her whole narration changed after the curse. She is seen to be standing in the stranded river with nothing but her thoughts in the unknown place.
