My name is Aurelie MONROSE I am a 3 rd year student in Bachelor in Business Administration at EMLyon in Saint Etienne. I was an exchange student at Seoul National University and discovered ACOPIA througout my first months in Korea. As I wanted to stay in South Korea longer, it was a perfect opportunnity to complete my year and to stay in South Korea. It’s been nearly one month now that I have been working for ACOPIA and I am involved in diverse activities. I am involved in the promotion and communication for the ACOPIA café mainly. I take care of the social Medias and communication. I had the chance to participate in free talking activities with clients as well.

I really like talking with clients coming to the café and seeing more and more people joining us to free talk as it is the result of our communication plan. I am happy that I can bring to our clients my knowledge of French and English – as I am fluent in both languages. Furthermore, it is a great chance for me to learn Korean as ACOPIA provides free Korean language classes as well as free Kpop classes once a week.

I have been in South Korea for 5 months before working as an ACOPIA intern. However, I think, I discovered the South Korean culture a lot more now, since I have been in contact with more South Korean people as our main clients are South Korean. Now we also distribute flyers and I have a lot of fun as we are always at least 3 interns doing it. It has been so far a great experience and I am excited to know what is going to come next.
