This is a monotype print which is made by applying paint or ink to a flat sheet of glass, plastic, or metal and in my case, I used a soda can. The painted image is then transferred to the paper by using a press or manually rubbing it like I did, using the back part of a spoon. This is a school plate which I thought would be easy to do but I ended up doing 5 attempts. For the image, we needed to do a landscape which is something I’ve always enjoyed. I think they’re just wonderful to paint and seeing them both in art and real life makes you realize how beautiful the world is.
